Is it a gay fire...?
Maybe it's a camp fire ?
Looks for coat and leaves
I'm here mate, to say the lads and lasses are fucking fuming is an understatement, the change to the shift pattern saves no money whatsoever for at least 3 years and then your fire cover will be cut from 52 engines to 30 fire engines at night, they have come up with an imaginary demand curve to support their arguements for changing the times, they say we are busier between 7-10pm it is actually 0.04 incidents more per pump, in other words it's nothing, let me put that into perspective when we had the fire in Wigan at the block of flats last year we had 25 fire engines plus support pumps there, that would decimate the cover for the rest of Manchester.Where's Blue Maverick ?
Agreed.Happening to all public services, fucking out of order
That's optimistic of you. It won't be long before people are on here telling us that it's the right thing to do and the lazy bastards should get on with their jobs. And as usual we will all sit back and do fuck all about it again, the powers that be are in it for what they can get and are not interested in the general public.
We need to protest and fight these corrupt bastards,
Mass civil disobedience is required bur X factor is on so the proles don't give a fuck. Are people just resigned to getting fucked over these days? How come there arent any massive protests for this sort of thing? Its like we all just accept it.
At least we got to page 2 before someone started with this tripe. As employees of the public the fire brigade's staff are probably treated better at work than the vast majority of people who employ them.
Public sector workers generally have shorter working weeks, premium pay paid overtime on higher wage levels, more annual leave, earlier retirement, much more generous pensions and better entitlements to sick and maternity leave than the average UK worker who pays their wages.
Why do they moan ten times as much as the rest of us?
That'd be difficult, you moan about everything to do with the public sectorAs employees of the public the fire brigade's staff are probably treated better at work than the vast majority of people who employ them.

Not just 'someone' - the usual troll where the public sector is concerned. At least we got to page 2 before someone started with this tripe.
