Having watched the game in total silence, I had no idea about the fireworks until this thread. Those cheeky scousers will have felt a little silly when they got back home to watch the game!

If I was a pool fan setting off fire works would have been a lot more fun than watching your team getting dry bummed off City.

I heard that after they had stolen the aforementioned fireworks they were going to hide them next door in the Alphabetti Spaghetti factory. They then realised if they had gone off it could have spelt disaster.
