First 3 games

So hows he going to look at these games, keep it tight in the first two then go for it against sunderland. 5 points for me.

I think the first two games may be the most important of the whole season, Get two wins and the season is off and running and there could be no stopping us. If we can beat spurs and the dippers I would take a point at Sunderland but we now have a squad capable of beating anyone in the division home or away. I think our weakest link is the management and the tatics they will use, as someone else said on another thread I have no idea of what style of play we are set up for

I think we'll take 4 points from the opening 3 games, and Bluemoon will go into meltdown with Mancini out threads.

We always struggle against Spurs (0pts), Liverpool will be rejuvenated under Hodgson (1pt) but we should turn Sunderland over (3pts).

Nil points, Berto sacked and bottom of league getting ready for a relegation fight press taking the piss or 9 points out of 9 top of league press slating us for winning league and having ruined football or somewhere in between. I will take in between.

9.

I'm being realistic too. Lennon will not outpace Kolarov and Boateng will see to Bale. Our midfield will dominate Spuds imo.

We are stronger than Liverpool and Sunderland in all areas.

This isn't arrogant, its what our squad is now capable of
How do you work that one out? Lennon is much quicker than Kolarov. But hopefully Kolarov will be more positionally aware than some of our recent left backs, negating Lennon's pace advantage.

4 is the minimum for me.

I predict 5 in typical City fashion: beating Spurs, followed by a bore draw vs Liverpool and a defensive howler game 2-2 at Sunderland.

No matter how good our team is, we never beat spurs away (except the 3-4 fa cup) - loss

Liverpool - loss

Sunderland - draw

1 point from 9.
