When you read that, you can understand why Slur Alex and Gill have shuffled offstage. I know we all see the rags as some sort of unstoppable behemoth, but in both commercial and footballing terms, I'm confident that the next stage of our development will be about knocking them off their pedestal in an even more concrete way than last season's title win and the 6 - 1. It'll be about making them feel small. Which I suspect the deal for NYCFC has gone some way to doing already.

If there's one thing the long term,holistically integrated trajectory is not it's personal.
