Cut out the booze and start running.

The first thing to do is cut out the alcohol completley and eat well.

Yeah I know I definitely need to cut down the booze that’s for sure
You don't need to cut down you need to cut it out
I must be honest and say I always find the most difficult time of the year to give up the beer is summer
I'm going to contradict myself now and tell you to cut down on the beer
Only drink on a Friday and Saturday evening
Get walking five miles every day and follow a YouTube no equipment half hour home workout video
When we get to end September cut out the booze altogether for a month and then start running

Whatever time of day you normally want to drink make sure you are, already in running kit and head out (for a run) when you feel the urge to booze. With your training history you'll know not to expect to hit pb's for a good while. Aim for time rather than speed/ distance, and add 5 mins each day. Don't reward yourself with a crate of Stella afterwards.
