Can not disagree with any of that. Word for word, pretty much spot on. If only all Bluemooners could speak such sense, what a nicer place this forum would be.

Agree wholeheartedly with them comments, although I don't think Balotelli and Dzeko link up very well due to how different their styles of play are. Who do you think would suit our style up front Ric? I'd be tempted to push for a swap for Gonzalo Higuain with Carlos Tevez but I'm not sure he'd want to leave Real Madrid right now. Perhaps Sergio could convince him to make the move?

I think the other thing we learned is that Kolarov can only play against teams he can get forward against and that is those that don't have the luxury of attacking wingers with pace as he is suspect defensively. Against them sort of players we'd need Gael so he could match them step for step.

Milner looked fantastic in the middle. Full of energy, he's a real work horse.

I didn't suddenly 'learn' that Bobby had the universal backing of City supporters. That reception came as no surprise to me. Did it to others?

A few things were reiterated, possibly.

Also learnt that this season the Fernhurst isn't charging 3 quid to get in after all but the beer tastes like its been watered down

I knew he had the backing but I didn't expect it to be that vocal so often.

Yeah, sorry - that was just a general title for the article. Wasn't meant to sound as condescending as it is does.

Take your point, though. It confirmed a few things.

To move heaven and hell not to get a ticket for the top tier in any sort of temperature approaching over 60 degrees!

I also think it shows the difference between Balotelli the left winger, and Balotelli the striker

Every time he's played up front, he looks like he'll score

When he plays out wide he looses interest very quickly. He deserves a run out in the team after his last 2 performances though, hopefully the penny has dropped with him
