Five things we learnt from Blackburn away

Excluding Tevez we have 9 attack minded 1st team players at the club presently, I don't think Guidetti is anywhere near the 1st team even on Carling Cup nights. Good article though excepting the Guidetti point.

Agreed with everything but the last part. we have 3 great talents at strikers. Adding another top player will only just bring problems to the team. No striker is gonna sit on the bench and be happy with being the 4th string. Only thing we need to do is bring up one from the academy, or buy another young striker from another academy.

I agree with points 1-4.

The best thing about the day for me was Mario's performance. I have been a critic of Balotelli simply down to him wasting his obvious talent. The 2nd goal was just fantastic forward play. Man of the match by a mile for me.

Point 5 - We may end up short but Guidetti isnt good enough for us at the moment. He may get there but not yet.

Regarding Guidetti, I wouldn't be surprised if being loaned out to a decent club was a condition of him agreeing to sign a new contract, don't forget he was intending leaving on a Bosman right up to the last minute.

I assume you left out "AJ should NEVER start again" because we learned that last season? Felt like we were playing a man down while he was in there.

We should never have let Jo leave.
