Not seen the context of the segment, but surely they are able to state the winners of a competition we didn't happen to win, and it not be a dig at us?OK thanks, thought it was very odd. But surely we won the third most important trophy in the domestic league. May be thats not worthy enough.

I’ve had it in my head for a while now that we keep getting a raw deal with the fixtures.
Whenever I think of first, last and boxing day fixtures, it was my belief that we seem to be away from home all the time.
Anyway, I decided to look at the data from the last 5 seasons to see if my feelings had any sort of validity.
Order of fixtures is as follows:

Boxing Day
Last
14/15 -
Newcastle (A)
WBA (A)

As long as Boxing Day is away I don’t care. Love a Boxing Day away day and it gets me out of having to go to see extended members of family.

Always exciting to see the fixtures then the realisation kicks in that you can only really book travel accommodation etc for 1 fixture until TV has their say
