For me it’s not the Boxing Day that irks, it’s the fact we don’t get either that or the Bank Holiday 2nd January at home, instead we get New Year’s Eve at home. Plus nearly every year out of the three holiday fixtures we get 2 away games and 1 at home, would be good to get the Rag’s luck of the draw.

We've been sent on some long old trips away. It’s no coincidence, also Chelsea on the 2nd Jan will probably get moved to Tuesday night when a lot of people have returned to work. If it stays 2nd there will be no trains.
Those January 2nd games are all a bit mad, tbh. We’re at Chelsea, Barcodes at Arsenal, Dippers at Brentford, Bournemouth at the rags, West Ham at Leeds and Brighton at Everton.
With there being 10 teams from Birmingham northwards and 10 from Arsenal southwards, you’d think they could have had all the bank holiday fixtures reasonably local, unless the police have a say?

I get back from holiday on the 31st August the day we are due to play forest at home so hoping that doesn't get moved to the Tuesday for TV.

Every year people out do themselves with tebas levels of insanity regarding the fixture list. You're in serious need of mental help if you think the fixtures are rigged for or against any one team.

We've got a really easy start, we play just 2 of the top 6, both at home in the first 10 games, we have to make the most of that and get a good lead on the board, we have some tough double headers later on in the season and the end looks like it could be tricky. The 2 Chelsea fixtures look inconvenient but we shall see how it pans out.

Could have been worse, Newcastle at Bournemouth instead of the Tarquins. Crazy how they’ve done this, was always fairly local going back a good few years ago with some exceptions that couldn’t be avoided.

it's nothing to do with luck .

It's funny that TV companies have agreed with PL this time to decide on TV picks for the last four games of the season (all in May) on a matchweek by matchweek basis ... but then have picked some random dates on when to announce them. MW35 being announced on 23rd March and then MW36 on 30th March ... both within the International Break, how or what would they learn from one MW to next to give a gap of that one week, not like games are being played and table changing that they decide which is better for them ... same for MW37 that comes out only a week later with only one PL game being played in there ... (and that MW37 at that point would still be 8 games away from that point on) ... in theory maybe it sounded good to the TV companies that oh, yeah we'd pick game by game for last month of May but in reality it gives them nothing to predict really ...
