Cancelling next week made more sense than (knee-jerk) this one … funeral might be Monday but four days leading up to it is viewing at westminister and world leaders all coming in over that weekend, police will be escorting them back and forth and securing them somewhere … 5 or 6 US presidents current and past alone in London and that’s just the starting point, at least another 100+ heads of states would be around, there is serious doubts especially for games in and around London that weekend. And it’s not said aloud but if Liverpool fans don’t behave this mid-week during the minute silence, FA is bound to shut down all football next weekend.The games before the break are Saturday and Sunday, shouldn't have to postpone next week as the funeral is Monday.
Plus slightly going off topic Brighton v Palace got called off because of rail strikes but the strike has been called off now so will that be played now?

I realise the Queen was our Queen, but she was revered around the world so might not other international teams not understand the change?
It is so weird actually: every year my work starts in early September after a summer break. I always love the second half of August with the new season and my fantasy team all signed up and everything and then just as I begin work there is a blinkin break. But not this season (or so I thought). But to have this weekend gone (which I totally respect by the way) then another in a couple of weeks - or whenever it is - is tough to accept.
