The carabao cup 4th round falls 2 days after the World Cup final? That should be fun. Let’s hope it’s not England vs Portugal.

what players do we have not going to then World Cup? Mahrez and Haaland? Possibly zinchenko?

I was most surprised about that one as well when plugging in the dates as I clearly remember clear 7 days before and after were declared as World Cup Break and then there's the World Cup from starting date and final day in between those. That was for player safety/well being ... so we restart with boxing day fixtures ... I am surprised they've sneaked in Carabao Cup R4 in there, probably hoping not too many clubs would be affected as only four teams would make it past 9/10th Dec or only two after 13/14th ... and the bigger clubs might have enough players to field a team for R4 ...

Don't suppose we know the date the 2023/24 season will start yet do we with the late end to next season?
Just thinking for booking a holiday

Realistically we will still be playing mainly academy players in Round 4 of the Carabao so don't see it being an issue.

Think the Forest away game is going to be a popular one - don't think away clubs get many tickets. Looking forward to them putting it on a Monday night

It doesn’t just impact on players from the finalists. The third and fourth place garbage is the day before the final so anyone involved in the semi finals isn’t likely to be back at their club until they’ve had a short break.

Forest will be a new ground for many so definitely be popular, they'll have to give us approx 3000
