Would be nice to have built up a bit of a lead before they go away for the WC

That'd be more than nice ... a six plus point gap at the top for us would be brill ...

I've read that it's 16 gameweeks before the world cup break so that whole whose top at Christmas/Boxing Day or New Years won't quite mean what that normally does in normal seasons (which usually is another 2-3 game weeks more in by then so almost (or at) half-way point ...

Not quite, but yes when I sat down designing this, I did take inspiration from those annual planner pages at the end.

Don't suppose we know the date the 2023/24 season will start yet do we with the late end to next season?
Just thinking for booking a holiday

A quick Google search says 16 August 2023 to 28 May 2024.

Think the 'random fixture generator' will also manage to chuck us out some away games in Champions League week. But may work in our favour that.

They'll give us tough fixtures to start the season which we won't do great in as we will be undercooked again.
