Have updated the calendar, Arsenal (A) now joins Spurs (H) down the bottom in postponed fixtures list and have added time/channels for Nov PL fixtures as well.

It's a bloody good job our game this weekend is on with this news. Not sure we should have agreed to this, on one hand, that week we've got Liverpool away arsenal away and Brighton at home, removing the arsenal game makes that week a lot more manageable but then the question is when do we fit it in, if we go deep in cup competitions they'll be no gaps nd there's every chance we end up with an even tougher schedule later.

With nothing on this summer for the first time in years, they should really just announce now that they're extending the season by a week, get all the rerrnged games pencilled in for the current last weekend and move the last games back a week.

Fa cup final is the following weekend, champions league final the week after that.

Quite simply the FA Cup replays for R3 and R4 need to go and that'd clear up two mid weeks in Jan and Feb, and if they switch the League Cup semi-final to single leg as well, then that also clears one more mid-week in Jan ... otherwise first available free mid-week as things stand is in April.

Another thing with these two is both Spurs (Sky) and Arsenal (Amazon Prime) were already picked by TV and would remain their games ... that is OK if you can't make the rescheduled fixture to think that at least they'd be on TV, but that also means they can't be just slotted on an empty mid-week (alongside other postponed games) but both (broadcasters) would demand their own exclusive windows for these so expect odd times, early kick-offs on mid-weeks for some others so these have their own slot later or these to be on Thursdays even if other postponed ones get Tue and Wed etc.

Lots of time and space for the games. Just imagine how bad it would have been if some fifa officials took a load of backhanders to stick a world cup right in the middle of the european football season. Oh wait sorry never mind!

Play the FA cup semi finals during the March international break (at neutral venues if Wembley not available) and play the final when the semis are booked. Frees up that final weekend. It’s stupid that there’s 11 weeks between quarterfinals and finals in a competition anyway.

It’s only four teams affected and what is that international break there for anyway?

Likely none, or very few of the players would be available - they'd all be with their international teams.
