Fixtures Calendar - 2023/24

That makes it 7 seasons on the spin and 9 in the last 10 that City have started the season away. The corollary is that the rags have opened the season at home 9 times in the last 10 seasons. At least we're at home for the final fixture. (5th time in the last 10 seasons which is 50/50).
And in those 10 seasons (not counting 11/12, obviously), we've won the title on 6 occasions. I'd settle for that again.

Regardless of whether you believe our fixtures were purposefully ordered in a way to maximise difficulty over the course of the season or if it was just the luck of the defined randomisation used to create the fixture list…

I don’t think it is unreasonable to assume the league will be doing everything they can to avoid us winning it for the fourth time on the trot.

So I can’t imagine—however it came about—they are especially unhappy with our schedule.

That said, we’ve had difficult schedules from the off in previous seasons, including this past one, and things worked out fairly well.

I expect other types of interventions to be much more assertive and impactful than this.

How do people not know by now that city always ask to be away for the first game of the season when there's been summer concerts at the etihad. It's been said on here a billion times and still people think it's a conspiracy.

Fixtures look a big stich up to me again.
Why are we always away 1st?
