Have they just forgotten the clocks change that weekend and the automatic time generator on their software hasn't factored that in?

Yes, and I think when November picks come out, Bournemouth (H) would also stay at Sat 3pm ... next home game to change for TV is likely to be the Liverpool H (currently on 25 Nov) and then Spurs H (currently on 2 Dec).So is that the Newcastle game the only game at the Etihad not 3pm kick off so far.

The PL website actually makes a point of stating that day’s fixture timings are GMT so I strongly doubt that there’s been any cock-up of any description.Have they just forgotten the clocks change that weekend and the automatic time generator on their software hasn't factored that in?

Don't know how credible as I can't find it again but I saw somewhere on-line that Bournemouth is Sat 17.30 first week in November.Yes, and I think when November picks come out, Bournemouth (H) would also stay at Sat 3pm ... next home game to change for TV is likely to be the Liverpool H (currently on 25 Nov) and then Spurs H (currently on 2 Dec).

Is there no wifi where you are going?Calendar is now updated with October fixtures in the first post.
I am away for a couple of weeks next, so both the Carabao Cup R3 draw (on 30th August) and Champions League draw (on 31st August) will need to wait for a few days till I'm back. I'll update the calendar with possibly all CL fixtures as soon as I'm back (on 4th Sept).

Maybe I’m going mad but I’m sure they used to announce it within an hour or two of the draw.
Used to be the draw around noon for all Euro competitions, the delegates and UEFA Officials got together afterwards to formulate the fixtures which were confirmed later the same day.That’s convenient. Probably just as everyone is getting ready or on their way out to the game.

It's because the draw was made on a Thursday, before the Europa and Europa Conference draws being done today. Nothing can be sorted until after these.That’s convenient. Probably just as everyone is getting ready or on their way out to the game.

Until it became an internal weekend 2nd week in around 1996. 1995 would be my guess.It used to happen every month.
Started before that, ITV were showing top flight football in 1989, Sky took over in 1991 when Leeds won the last Football League in the 91/92 season. Then along came Sky and the Rags won the first Premier League. I think, but could well be wrong. Sky started with Sunday games then added Saturday lunch and Monday night football which they made a big thing of, City v QPR was the first MNF at Maine Road, fireworks followed by a 1-1 draw.Until it became an internal weekend 2nd week in around 1996. 1995 would be my guess.
