Fixtures Calendar - 2024/25

Got to move to the early KO surely?
Only if TNT picks the game. There’s no obligation from the broadcasters to give a team playing on Tuesday any concession in terms of what time they play on Saturday.
The Bournemouth game could theoretically be on Friday night though Carabao Cup fourth round is the preceding midweek which could rule that out.

What has arsenal’s fixture in the champions league got to do with our fixture against Wolves being moved ?
Arsenal were scheduled for the Sunday 2pm slot but now have to play on Saturday due to their CL game being on the Tuesday.
Sky have decided that they’d now rather have the Liverpool v Chelsea game (originally Saturday 5:30pm) in the prestigious and higher viewing figures slot later on Sunday so rather than do a straight swop with the Liverpool and Arsenal games, they have juggled the times of all three fixtures instead.

I see Nov TV games due from today onwards till next Friday.
Considering there will be zero PL action before then, CL dates are fixed, and Carabao wouldn’t take precedent over it, can we expect these to be announced sooner rather than later, ie this week rather than next?

I'd think so too. The juggling of Wolves weekend after CL fixtures came out hints at them probably already sorting it, so should be soon I think.

For us in November, Brighton A, Spurs H and Liverpool A are all likely to be moved away from Sat 3pm slot for TV. Bournemouth A would probably stay there, depends what other games are on that weekend. Could really have done with that midweek Sporting A game to be on Wednesday and not Tuesday as that'd nicely have cushioned both sides of the weekend, now, it'll be too close after Bournemouth A whatever happens.

Just goes to show you how much all the relevant authorities have fucked up the schedule this year. This should be a very rare last resort, not the happening the first time there's more than two competitions running

Agreed. No reason whatsoever why the rags EL game couldn’t have been scheduled for the Thursday when there was a possibility of this scenario happening. The Arsenal game was confirmed for the Sunday weeks before the UEFA draws.
