Didn't they originally schedule all the PL games for Sunday that weekend to avoid a direct clash with the Cup Final?

All 10 games are scheduled for 3 pm Sunday at the moment. Two will obviously be moved completely for the teams in the final. But I’m sure several of the rest will be shunted around for TV, to various kickoff times and possibly Friday and/or Monday.

City website saying Bournemouth is Sunday at 3pm but to be advised.

Of course, if City and Villa get knocked out of the cup we could well have a Monday and a Friday in the same week! Shortest gap between games we could have been given!!
Depends if Villa beat PSG in the CLQF. If they do, I reckon it will move forward to Tues 22nd or Weds 23rd April.

Well I won't be there. Off to see the Manic Street Preachers at the Apollo on the Friday evening, and I always prioritise gigs over football.
Oh fuck - just remembered that I've got tickets for that gig too. No way I can wriggle out of it either as I'm away on a lads beano in Majorca for 4 nights the previous weekend so the other half will be proper pissed off if I prioritise the match over the gig!

As a cricket umpire, I'm one of the few people to benefit from the Wolves game being switched, as I can now attend rather than missing a blatant stumping whilst checking the latest score at Square Leg

As a season ticket holder for 40+ years I fucking hate Friday night home games.

However aside from Chelsea in 83-84 and 3-4 games circa 97-00 (plus any Christmas games that never felt like a Friday) we've usually avoided them

Other than festive season fixtures, I’m pretty certain this will be our first ever league game* at the Etihad on a Friday night. Last one we had at home was against Birmingham at Maine Road in 2000. We did play Arsenal in the FA Cup on a Friday night in the treble season.

*I’ve not included behind closed doors games during the pandemic. They all felt the same whatever day of the week they were played!

We played Charlton on Good Friday in 2007, but that was a 5.15ko, so not quite Friday night!

Yeah I'd forgotten all about the Arsenal Cup Tie (I was in Germany) but I definitely attended the Halifax Cup Tie in 98-99

There was also a 1-0 defeat to Huddersfield and the Birmingham game you mentioned, plus the earlier defeat to Chelsea in 83-84

I'm sure there were others, but none immediately spring to mind
