No. Other than the agreed guidelines like the not playing early on Saturday after a European away game on Wednesday, the clubs play when they’re told to play. Clubs can make requests but the broadcasters aren’t obliged to listen to them - only police and local authorities can override what they want.

I see that Sunday has 4 ko slots for tv:
1200, 1415, 1630 and 1900.
I reckon we’ll see more Sundays like that next season.

There's potential that half the league will be in European competition next season. Be interesting how the TV slots will work if that occurs.

It’s obviously pie in the sky that it will ever happen but it’s a good point that someone should put to the Premier League. If only to see their spokesman mumble a reply to justify why they won’t do it.

Effectively every single Premier League club will be getting over a million pounds for every single game shown on TV next season. That’s every game. Not every game of theirs.

So how about giving a 50% refund to fans who are inconvenienced by attending the rearranged live games?
