Okay not sure what's going on now - fixtures will definitely be published by FA and Football League at 9am so what is the 4/4-30pm press conference all about and where is it stated that there will be a press conference (or am i missing something?)

what fuckin difference does it make?
don't you actually play every team home and away?

It's naive to believe when you play a team isn't important. Play a Fulham, or a Bolton, in the last couple of games and you're more likely to get a decent result should you need it, Their season will likely be over and they'll be going through the motions. Play a top side early on when they haven't got into the rhythm and again you'll have a better chance. It's not vitally important when you play teams, but it has a bearing. I'm not saying it's fixed by the way.
its naive to think it really works like that
Really? Remember the season we went down to League 1? We beat Stoke 5-2 on the last day of the season, that result SHOULD have been enough to keep us up as, unless the 3 sides (I think) above us also won, we'd be safe. They all won, because they were all playing mid table sides with nothing to play for who simply weren't up for the match.

When you play a team makes a difference, especially now you've got the January transfer window to consider too.

So was the "leak" genuine or a load of old bollocks?

Edit : I've just re-read the op and it was a load of old bollocks. Surprisingly.
