Flash Gordon

It's always in the box it was on itv4 about 3 times last week! It's a classic and I must of watched it half dozen times!

What's weird is the films world hasn't done an updated Flash Gordon and make it like marvel where there are loads of films about that world..

I thought about this, some years ago, and I couldn't find a reason why it would be remade or updated.

It's too camp to, er, touch!

Great film, made all the better by the appearance of Ornella Muti.

I like how Peter blue Peter Duncan and city James bond were in it. Gordon's alive.

I thought Buster Crabbe was good but they should have gone with the more talented Buck Rogers actor from the same time.

I loved watching the old black and white show in the school holidays as a kid, but it always pissed me off that I never seemed to see the beginning or the end! It was only many years later that I discovered that the BBC bought shows like that literally by the foot.

Thank god

"GORDON'S ALIVE"
Great memories of me watching with my dad early on a Saturday morning. That MING scared the shit out of me.

Didn't know that about buying by the foot!

I do remember floppy haired Larry 'Buster' Crabbe playing 'Buck Rogers' and I'm sure I saw him as 'Tarzan' but can't remember if it was after Johnny Weissmuller.

'Rocketman' turning his chest dial to take off was ultra awesome and 'Superman' was decent.

Great times!
