I do remember floppy haired Larry 'Buster' Crabbe playing 'Buck Rogers' and I'm sure I saw him as 'Tarzan' but can't remember if it was after Johnny Weissmuller.
'Rocketman' turning his chest dial to take off was ultra awesome and 'Superman' was decent.
Great times!

I only saw him as 'Tarzan' once.
It was such a jarring visual experience that I remember to this day! My brain was, like... 'Isn't that 'Buck Rogers'?' as it was the first time, I think, I realised actors could be in different roles (I didn't understand typecasting as a kid)! Like I was used to Harold Lloyd, Charlie Chaplin and Laurel and Hardy just being in their usual roles back then.

Just checked he played him once in a movie, never knew that. Just found out he was an Olympic swimmer like Weismuller, spooky.
It was odd for me watching him play Flash Gordon then next day he was Buck Rogers. Confusing as hell, if I missed the start it took a while to work out which programme I was watching.
I don't know if they were made at the same time or I was just watching repeats that were aired together. He didn't see to look much older in one of them.
Off to Google it.
