I know he put lots of money into the club.
They are going to struggle now. Expect them to be in administration in the next couple of years.

His company was supposed to act as a kind of broker to find good energy deals for businesses. They were directing some of their customers towards companies that it turned out were actually owned by Pilley. That was how I understood it anyway.
