13 years is a long sentence in this day and age.
I know nothing of the case, but it was obviously quite considerable to get that much.
Kill a young girl, with your car flee the scene leaving her to die, 6 years. Money taken 13 years.

It was always surprising to me (and anyone else who took notice) that Fleetwood Town emerged from non league obscurity to being in the Football League, with a decent enough ground, owned by a company that nobody had ever heard of, it was rife for money laundering as are many clubs in that bracket Football seems to attract them for some reason must be the lack of decent governance
Of to the the gentleman in question Pilley, who went to prison for four months in 1998 for conspiracy to steal from the Post Office when he was a counter clerk, make of that as you will
