Good point, I didn't look at the date but that is stretching it a bit by City.

Might as well say an early season game in late Summer on a nice evening will cost more than a pain in the arse mid week game in December/ January when it's freezing or flooded everywhere

I think they probably should think about it like that. The Nottingham Forest game, 4th December, 7:30 midweek is ripe for a lot of empty seats. That’s the game that should have been plucked for £21.00.

I was offered one. Problem was they wouldn’t let me buy one a couple of seats down. Said it strictly had to be right next to each other.

So it looks like my lad is watching on TV until the old guy next door to me kicks the bucket.

Thanks for the information @Tim of the Oak . Early information like this appreciated and helpful as someone who is trying to get a season ticket for sometime next season.

I suppose if the stand opens at least partially
mid-season, say October or November, they will let the current ST holders relocate and the new ST holders move in, albeit with a discount/refund for the games missed (probably 5 or 6 if this season is anything to go by).

It is nice to see the amount of new STs being released in the thousands after the 600 released last summer and the few hundreds in summers 2021 and 2022.

If they will only offer Flexi Gold STs they must remove the £150 surcharge. Unacceptable to force new FG ST holders to pay £150 extra for what is essentially the same "product". It's not like anyone who wants a ST has a choice, you either pay the ST price and the £150 extra or remain a member.

The cynic in me would think that the club don't actually give a shit about the amount of no-show ST holders and know FG STs will do little to stop it, but have thought of a way to increase ST prices by £150 with less backlash.

I have a feeling they'll be very reluctant to remove the £150 charge, as I suspect it is the true point of their existence.

On City's website it shows the upcoming dates to purchase flexi golds. The email reminders do seem unreliable.

You should have emailed the club and said you’ve asked the old duffer and he doesn’t mind moving a seat down.

To be honest mate I was in two minds whether I could be arsed buying another one anyway.

I was going to phone back and see if another operator would be a bit more flexible but I couldn’t even be arsed doing that in the end.
