Flights to USA

Starts this summer

I know your budget is important but I would also be looking at how many connections you have to make in the states and your overall time in transit. I say this as a friend visited here a few years ago and admittedly I live in the middle of nowhere but he stopped at about five different airports in the states and just one missed connection will really ruin your day and gets spendy too

Where is the best to get them.

I am going to work in America In July and come back at the end of December. Will probably fly from Manchester, but anywhere is fine if it saves me money! I am working in san francisco. What is the best place to go to to get a good deal. I am sure I found a return flight (non direct) for around £675 the other day but I cannot seem to find it again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. (apologies for the lack of question marks but the question mark key on my laptop has broken)

There you go blue, even cheaper at £651.47, US Airways cattle class via Philadelphia. Says it's in a sale so I'd get it booked.
MAN ->SFO, out 4/11/14 back for crimbo 22/12/14

Don't forget, everything gets ballsed up at Christmas, so I wouldn't pick Christmas week if I were you. I just picked these 2 dates to see what price I could find and 22/12 was last day showing for travel.

Sorry, I meant to say end of november lol!!! ill pm you

I used to fly to the states regularly, continental and AA are the companies i seemingly saw with the cheapest prices.

Between booking.com and expedia you should find the cheapest flights available.
Changes at Newark, Dallas fort worth and Chicago O'Hare seem to accommodate the best transitions imo, look for these as your change over.

Megabus i think it is called are like the new greyhound and cheaper, use this company if you do take a coach of any distance.

Cheers. At the moment, I cannot seem to beat around £813 and that flight is from Manchester to San Fran with a stop. Norwegian airlines was quite good, but you cannot book November flights :(

It may be worth buying your exit ticket to canada or Mexico.
As long as it shows your leaving the usa they do not care afaik.
Say your visiting friends on your way back home, maybe cheaper for you ?

Can you get an american to buy your return ticket ?, this usually helps a bit with cost.
