If Bayern are trying to wait till summer 2026 he will come to us....no way he or Leverkusen would accept that...Lererkusen wouldnt get the transfer fee and Wirtz would feel like he wasnt wanted as much

Until its official we will continue to get all this back and forth from the twaterraty. Through enough shit around and eventually some of them get lucky enough to be right.....

And for me Bayern are very average at the moment
It’s hard for them to not win the league and most players (Kane, olise etc) go there because they couldn’t win anything elsewhere
It’s a guaranteed league title, may as well sign for Celtic

Agreed. Pretty much why I've not really followed the story, all of the early news from legit sources was that he only wanted Bayern.

Pretty sure the club would have known this as well.

It absolutely is entitled. You're talking like they're playing FIFA or Football Manager, they're not. These are real people that they're trying to convince. You can no more just "sign the best players" than any other company can just "hire all the best people".

I've been a season ticket holder since I was a kid. If you offered me the chance to live and work in Madrid or Barcelona tomorrow or live in Cheshire, even I would want to move to Spain, that's just one element of what they're competing with.

There's also uncertainty over the FFP charges, uncertainty over Pep's future, learning a foreign language, moving away from family and friends.

"Pull us out of the shit every season". We just won the league 4 years in a row and one of their terrible signings won the Ballon D'Or, did I dream that? Thinking of it, who brought Pep to City in the first place?

Honestly one of the worst takes I've ever seen on here, truly deluded.

Pretty decent if you ask me, wouldn’t even swap them 3 for Bayerns forwards and that’s without adding Doku and Savinho into the mix.

Are you seriously that shocked that we can’t attract the most coveted players in the world every single time. We got Haaland, be happy about that. If Wirtz wants to play for the best and most prestigious club in his home country, a club bigger than ours, then what do you want?

Do you want us to break the wage structure for a 22 year old who’s only played in the bundesliga?

Do you really think the board failed in getting Bellingham, he went to Real Madrid, where he gets to live a much more attractive lifestyle for the biggest football team of all time.

If I wasn’t a blue, and I had the choice, I’d go to Madrid every single time.
