Florian Wirtz

Nobody knows, as yet. Today, some channels are reporting that we are favourites once more.
We have this every, single year, with one with a few spurious links creating feverish speculation.
When it is announced on the OS, I'll pay close attention. I personally hope that Bobb is our Wirtz.
Who? Where?

Just back for a moment as I finally met someone who is ITK. I was playing WoW last night and the player on the mammoth next to me had the character name FlorianWirtz (genuinely), it's done and dusted, I tell you.

Actually, perhaps I should have asked if he was a Blue???

Edit: damn, just checked and there's no less than 5 players that have used that name on different servers. Perhaps it's not a sign after all.

It's a mistake to let an important player, especially if he's your first choice and has high technical value, go to a rival. This reminds me of the deals for Rice, which Arsenal secured, and Van Dijk, which Liverpool secured.

Refusing to continue negotiations on the grounds of a player's late response or financial demands is wrong, especially if the player's technical value is high and if he will influence your style of play and your chances of success. I don't want Liverpool to sign Wirtz. Letting him go to a rival would be a huge mistake on the part of management.

Completely agree with every statement here.

It’s a PR spin from city how do you not see that? He has obviously said or we clearly have the impression he does not want to come and we are trying to save face.

Think it's pretty obvious we'll have sounded Vinny out for Munichs position in this tbh.

Your response is based on an unprovable assumption: that the player doesn't want to join City. This is an assumption, not a fact. My argument is that City walked away from this deal due to his high financial demands, which is the same reason City is said to have abandoned the deal. I don't know why you think that you know the facts. No one knows anything; we are all discussing the issue based on some information that no one can confirm.

Going to Munich is no challenge in a 1 team league.

The ballsy move would have been to arrive at a club in transition and take over the mantle of king Kev.

Anyway, it don’t matter. We will find a good player to help with Kev’s absence. He is irreplaceable just like Yaya and Sergio and Dave. We evolve and develop.

I heard he was going to Liverpool

so you're guessing we walked away for financial reasons then without knowing facts ok

I mean I get being frustrated we don't land a player- but he's GERMAN- it's like every GERMAN football player's dream / goal to play for the national team and Bayern Munich.
