That’ll get the tiny thinkers in absolute faux rage!
No, I’m mature enough to know we don’t know how a transfer will work out until the player beds in with the team.
To think you know otherwise beforehand….. wow (as you put it)
yes but if you are missing a cog all together no matter how hard the other cogs work then the whole machine fails....MGW, Reignders might fullfill the need in some areas but we are missing creativity centrally then and without that we are limited and missing a vital piece of the machine......Yes but I'm not a big fan of these £100m+ signings. Too much can go wrong. PSG look a lot better now they've abandoned the policy of signing the likes of Neymar, Mbappe and Messi. And Real Madrid signing Mbappe hasn't improved them. No coincidence PSG and Inter are CL finalists. For me, the future lies in signing the right cogs for the machine rather than the biggest available star.
We signed two club legends a decent left back and a player who would been decent had he stayed but we got our money back. When was the last time United, Liverpool, Arse, chelski signed two players of that caliber in a window.Boateng fucked off after about 5 minutes and Kolarov was “decent” at best.
It wasn’t as amazing a window as you’re suggesting.
What if he doesn’t want to come? How is that a failure when it’s completely out of our control?Make no mistake we can sugar coat it as much as like but if he goes to Liverpool that is massive kick in the balks for our recruitment another failure to get an elite player in .
Looks like we haven’t got the pulling power of Liverpool the. Doesn’t it . After winning the treble and being the best team in the world we have now gone back to the pack scrapping with the likes of Newcastle Chelsea etc for average players .What if he doesn’t want to come? How is that a failure when it’s completely out of our control?
Kolorov - the fake hard man!!!Boateng fucked off after about 5 minutes and Kolarov was “decent” at best.

No. Maybe he just likes the idea of representing Liverpool in the same way Haaland likes the idea of representing us instead of *insert any top club here*.Looks like we haven’t got the pulling power of Liverpool the. Of course it isn't. We need a FB or two as well. It’s pretty funny seeing the mental gymnastics people are doing to persuade themselves that Reijnders and MGW is any where near enough
The money matters, I don't understand why this sentiment still exists. We are very close to dropping out of the Champions League due to poor signings and if that happens with a couple more dud transfers then your ability to spend going forward drastically reduces unless you can continue selling youth talent like we have i guess but still the point stands, city brass clearly cares about how the money is spent so there's a sporting reason to care due to PSR.Is it your money? If not why are you arsed?
Yeah, then when they recover from that they can look at their fucking huge pile of medals in the last decade and all is well.Make no mistake we can sugar coat it as much as like but if he goes to Liverpool that is massive kick in the balks for our recruitment another failure to get an elite player in .

I agree, but also can't deny that the quality of signings does seem to be steadily declining over the last few yearsAnd yet apparently that’s what we’ve done if you read this very thread, let alone the others. What I find weird then is that we have had one trophy less season this time, yet before that it was 4 in a row, the treble etc. what I conclude by that then is that people are pretty dim, entitled and have very limited knowledge on how it works in the real world.
I think the Dutch is very good at what he does and will be good for us if we can get it done and we don’t play silly buggars and walk away as we normally do . Tbh wirtz is probably seeing that pep destroys anyone with any creativity and thinks fuck it .It’s pretty funny seeing the mental gymnastics people are doing to persuade themselves that Reijnders and MGW is any where near enough
