I can’t believe people think we are looking to move Jack. Injury hit season, reacted well, loved by Pep.Do I misunderstand you or are you really saying we'd only get £50m maximum for Grealish is we sold him now?

Bernardo plays on the right though. If we got Musiala, are we shifting Phil back to playing on the right?Somebody has to replace Bernado and somebody has to repalce KDB. Musiala and Wirtz are those for me.
Wirtz can play RW and CAM and Musiala can play as a winger and CAM too. Both of the players can play as creative, goal scoring wingers and CAMs. The beauty about us and the way we play, our players drift across the pitch, one minute they are playing the right, the next, they are on the left, our style is very fluid. These are the sort of versatile, technical and talented players Pep loves. Phil can remain in the middle.Bernardo plays on the right though. Wouldn’t his book value be around £40m in the summer? If that.
What clubs that we would want to sell to can afford a £250k/week contract and a £50m+ transfer fee?
plus it would pisss off haaland. We’d take a £50m+ hit on Grealish. Plus he probably brings in more image rights money than anyone else at the club. So financially the move would be a disaster, even if another club picked up his wages.
But more than that, I just don’t see Pep casting him off after an injury hit season. He’s been disappointing but he’s got a valid excuse.

I can't see us ditching Grealish, UNLESS we received a huge offer which gives us most of our money back.
The travails Jack's struggling with this season are self-inflicted imo. Going on five day benders for two months & drinking until your "whole body's in pain", has directly contributed to his injury plagued season & the massive drop-off in form as predicted.
I've supported him from day one, but couldn't stand by watching our most valuable asset breaking his own body being a typical Jack The Lad beer monster. Hence why I called him out.
A mistake is only a mistake if you don't learn from it, & my hope is that Grealish has seriously learned from his errors. As he enters his fourth season with us, he'll have three seasons to contrast & compare.
Season one: Bedding in & proving his doubters wrong
Season two: Being a pivotal player in a Treble winning season
Season three: Drinking the Northern hemisphere dry & suffering injuries & a huge drop off in form
Season four: Hopefully a painful lesson is learned, & he endeavours to return to his season two form, fitness & conduct away from football
I also hope that Pep considers Grealish in a more central role, & even as a potential double pivot with Rodri until we get a specialist CDM in.
The likes of Wirtz & Paqueta will present bigger dangers to Jack's City future unless he pulls his weight on & off the pitch for City.
