Florian Wirtz

Last time I checked, they played in an irrelevant farmers league — so I highly doubt they’ve got the kind of money you’re claiming, especially to pull off the third-highest transfer fee of all time.

Of course they have the money to do that or any other deal they want.

Kane wasn't bought for free and decided to play for peanuts too sure.

Are you for real?
Why do you think a successful German team would have any less financial clout than any other top European team?

Good that you checked. Guess Farmer leaguers are the top 5 now. Which one isn’t a farmer league than beside the PL? La Liga? Munich always made plus they are one of the biggest clubs in the world and never paid 40M+ for any players until sane existed. They never had to pay that much especially when getting players within their league. But it’s a new era and they started paying more with the arrivals of De Ligt and Sané. They have enough money my guy. You are just talking nonsense

I just highly doubt they can pull off the third-highest transfer of all time when their league winners get less money from TV rights than the last-placed team in the Premier League.

They only brought in 5 million less in revenue than Man United last year. They got plenty of revenue.

Have Bayern got any history of spending £100m+ on a player?

They went big with Kane. €80m and €480,769 a week.

Bayern won't go anywhere near €100m let alone the leaked figure in the German press of €150m, which is what we are prepared to meet if need be.

Bayern need a defense rebuild, Dier and Kim will not win them a CL, the fullbacks are not brilliant and Neuer is 39.

The only way Bayern get Wirtz is if he is so desperate for Bayern that him and Leverkusen come to an agreement where signs a new deal with a buyout of around €80m in it that Bayern can trigger in a year, he gives them one more year to try and get another Bundesliga, and they amicably do a deal next year after the world cup.

Not a chance do Bayern get in a bidding war with us this summer.

Same with Real Madrid, they will ask him to wind down his contract or get a buyout put in so they can meet it in a year.

Can’t see them selling Wirtz for £68m when they could get close to £100m for him.

I’m honestly shocked that they have the money to pull off a £140m deal. It doesn’t even make sense — they’re literally playing in Germany. Surely that screams corruption, because there’s no way they have money like that.

A bit of tax evasion a few dodgy watches… Bayern are a progressive club.

For Wirtz they have to spend over 100 Mio € and they also can pay that.

Bayern need two central defenders and at least 1 fullback.

They can't get all that and Wirtz.

Their hope is Wirtz only wants them and therefore brings his price down and for me the only way Wirtz' price tag comes down below €100m is if he resigns for Leverkusen and gives them one more season and has a buyout in his new contract as a gentleman's agreement for around €80m-€100m.

No chance to Leverkusen allow him to go for sub or around €100m when we are willing to pay €150m

I know that they need also to strengsten other positions, but main priority is Wirtz. There will never be an agreement for under 100 Mio €.

Munich are getting Tah on a free from Leverkusen.

Any one that thinks they don't have the money to pull this off is an idiot. Whether they would spend it is entirely different.

Well to be fair, it's not like them. They usually prefer to tap them up and get them to run down their contracts and leave on a free. Model club, that lot.

Given that there's only ever been maybe 14 transfers at £100m+ including add-ons, it's difficult for any club to have a 'history' of doing that (ignoring inflation corrected figures).

Kane, depending on where you look, probably hit the £100m mark though. Chelsea have 3 of them, PSG and Barca have 2 apiece.

2? They have 5 central defenders + Tah coming. Their problem is just that they all injured. Only thing they need is a fullback and potentially someone who takes over from neuer but that’s something for 2026 apparently. With the Coman departure, the money from selling tel and the wage reductions of players like sane and kimmich while also selling boey there is a chance
