I'd argue Wirtz would rather play with/learn from someone like Kev, than make it a stipulation he was moved on, before coming to City?
And if has/had done, he's not for us because his arrogance would outweigh his ability.
The biggest aspect we have going for Wirtz is Pep. Not from Bayerns side but briefed from Wirtz side the coach is a massive reason for his next club also the World Cup.
No offence to Kompany he’s our legend and he’s doing well as a manager, but he’s no where near Pep. Pep is one the best managers of all time. That’s why I think he could turn Man City down if we didnt have Pep as he likes Germany.
but turning one the best managers of all time and best teacher of midfield players down, who’s managed Xavi, Iniesta , Messi , Alonso , Kev etc I don’t think Wirtz would. Especially as he’s apparently very ambitious and wants to be the best in his postion.
