If this is true and Wirtz is going to Real and our plan is now to get Gibbs-White as a replacement for KDB and an alternative to Wirtz I give up.

Gibbs-White has no place being mentioned in the same breath as KDB and is light years off Wirtz level.

The Gibbs White transfer has nothing to do with Wirtz and nothing to do with KDB replacement. No surprise something like team talk can’t work that out.
 
One player is not replacing Kev. You need two and that’s what the club are doing.

Gibbs white has Kevs ability to progress the ball, create and has Kevs work rate when he was younger.

Wirtz has the ability to put a ball through defences and create chances out of nothing. His vision is similar.

Combine the two and you get what we will miss without Kev.

I think the big question is if it is Gibbs White and Wirtz who the plan B is if we don't get Wirtz. No name has been floated.

A source who works at Bayern told me that Wirtz’s move to Bayern is already a done deal. They’re preparing to trademark the Wirtz-Musiala duo.
I shouldn’t be posting this here (since it’s not meant to be public), but I’m so anxious that I was hoping people here could tell me something different.
I’m really worried about how we’re going to rely on MGW as our only No.10 in the long term...
 
I’m worried about Bayern. We all remember how they used the national team to force Sane to transfer over to Munich, they will definitely try it again with Wirtz. You can bet if KDB was German they would have done it with him.
