i'd say joint 4th with chelsea but depends how you describe how big a club is chelsea have the bigger pedigree in europe for me which would put them above city
 
real shame if we miss out on him...but wouldnt be surprising either....

hopefully our back up plan is decent and our whole summer and rebuild doesnt revolve around MGW - that would not be good

I dunno, perhaps after United, Liverpool and probably Arsenal.

Feels weird for me to say that though considering where we were.

Obviously I expect that to change and it is changing, I used to go abroad and people didn’t know who we were, now it doesn’t matter what beach you’re at, there isn’t a market shop without dodgy City shirts.
 
This feels like watching the Isco saga all over again from years ago. Back then, when we failed to sign Isco, it felt like the world was falling apart — but how did that turn out? Wirtz isn’t the be-all and end-all of football. We’ll find our answer again.

Just for the record, a year after missing out on Isco, we signed KDB.

If we can’t get Wirtz , we need a ten / creative midfielder. We desperately need one without Kev we struggle to create. Foden is more of a goal scorer than provider, he doesn’t have that long through ball that Kev can do. Or the pass that can split defences.

Can’t help but wonder if the dragging on uncertainty over the 115 is putting some top players off signing for us….just a thought.
The longer this goes on the more it damages us.
 
Lots of talk about this bloke which makes me think about when the top fellas that arrived a few years ago.Bernardo.Davide.sergio.Yaya.Kev.Vincent.There are many others.There didn’t seem to be a big pre they are coming thing it just happened.Bang.City have signed this name and they were all just mint.
Is it the same now or our the new arrivals just not quite as impactful.
 
Uncertainty over CL probably not helping too, hopefully a good win over Southampton tomorrow will be another key step towards that.
