Let me clarify something respectfully: at no point have I claimed to be an ITK, nor do I have any desire to be seen as one. I simplied shared what I heard in good faith, especially when it comes from
sources I trust. That doesn’t mean I believe everything is set in stone—far from it.
When my source told me Wirtz was wrapped up, I came here and shared what I’d heard. But I also made it very clear that I’d only believe it once it was done and dusted,with a "here we go", even though I trust my source. Transfers are volatile—we all know that—and I never presented it as guaranteed.
The same source told me last week that City had made an approach for Reijnders, that a bid had been submitted and rejected, and that Milan were holding out for a better offer in the region of €65M, just like I reported last week, here in the forum. This week, multiple outlets reported that figure. So while nothing is done yet, my source was clearly on point about our interest and activity around Reijnders.
I’m not here to pretend to be something I’m not. I shared information I heard, I discuss, and I’m just as aware as anyone that things can change. Just because I pay attention, hear things, connect dots, and talk about football doesn’t mean I’m out here cosplaying as some football oracle or ITK. I am discussing City affairs in a City forum as a City fan. I talk. I speculate. Like literally everyone else here. It’s called discussion.
