Florian Wirtz

It makes his bargaining power and Leverkusens stronger.

I’d question who tipped off the press.
Stuff like this happens all the time when big players move, there’s rumours and sightings but the press aren’t always tipped off in advance and are able to get pictures.

I’d love him at City but I can’t see it happening.
Not sure but I bet they didn't fly scheduled in which case who paid for the executive jet charter whoever it wouldn't be cheap so my guess is its serious

"Who tipped off the press" All we have seen is some pictures of his parents I would expect someone at the airport in Germany who then passed them on to the media, a quick search would find their destination as Manchester even just tracking the aircraft they boarded. Its very difficult to keep such things under wraps

So the whole Leverkusen at City a month a go was probably true. Either about the price and/or players going in return.

Viana has created a relationship with Lens and reports yesterday were that he’s looking to do the same with Leverkusen. McAtee, Ortega, Mukasa have all been linked. I hope we keep hold of Mukasa.
maybe mukasa would be a loan and ortega and mcatee permanent deals
Absolutely — Mukasa should be the one we hold on to no matter what. His technical ceiling, vision, and footballing IQ are elite for his age. He should be developed and nurtured well — a homegrown talent who becomes a long-term pillar of the first team.

Alongside Bobb and O’Reilly, we’re finally seeing a wave of academy products who could contribute meaningfully if nurtured correctly. Mukasa stands out and I rate him highly. A loan move — ideally to a top-flight team where he can play consistently under pressure — is a must. He needs minutes against senior opposition to sharpen up, build physicality, and come back ready to compete at City’s level. The talent is there — it’s just about timing his development right.

a loan move to leverkusen would be excellent for that (although that is dependent on who the new manager is )

Keep Mukasa at all cost and should integrate him next season if we are to sign Wirtz. He’ll play the majority of games at 10 so perfect to come in learn and play cup games/come of the bench. If Wirtz was to get an injury we’d still have Foden and a 8 that is more attacking to step up I’m sure.

Listen, on the Wirtz thing. It looks to me that Bayern initially briefed Sky DE and Santi Anouna and Sacha. So between Saturday and Monday the narrative was heavy on Bayern’s side. Here’s a SS of my DM’s with him.

He’s tier 3, but he’s said that to many other of my friends. If anything changed between Monday and Wednesday, I genuinely don’t know. I’d assume that they were all briefed wrong. IMG_3673.jpeg

play's in the EDS, train with first team occasionally stage.

There’s still potential he’s going to Bayern but the fact he’s entertained City more than previous targets we’ve missed out on says a lot.

Both City and Bayern are hard to walk away from if they are serious.

I do believe reports though they’d offer him more money as we always stand strong on that.

Mukasa definitely looks the one with the most potential in our youth team. He plays with his head up and sees the whole pitch. A lot of the other ones have good technique but are often in headless chicken mode (which too be fair is normal for youngsters)

Yeah but if he’s good enough we should put more time and effort into getting him involved in the first team. Few players in the EDS are a level above recent prospects.
barely even played for the U21s yet, very much doubt they move him up to 1st team without taking that step. Training next season in the groups that get called in as normal imo

He’s 17 but I want him to acc play against grown men rn. I want a different approach to him compared to McAtee and Palmer. Loan him out to Leverkusen cuz Pep won’t play him (he doesn’t trust kids) he will at best play max 600 mins here

Can you explain how a Spaniard who lives in France would secretly and exclusively know the outcome of a German player moving to an English team?

He's a total fraud mate. You've been had.

O'Reilly and Lewis say you're wrong.
Well no. Palmer and McAtee don’t say I’m wrong. This is a known fact. Pep trusts his experienced players more than the youngsters. In the 1 win in 14 he kept playing the old guard every single game didn’t matter how many times we lost. O Riley should’ve been playing since October. He only played him because he had no choice. Then he realised oh shit this kid is acc good, tall, strong, fast and can score. Rico skipped the EDS pep fell in love with him in 2023. If you’re not super generational like Foden you will eat bench the entire season

To be fair, I did say he’s tier 3.

Can anyone explain what tier 3 is?? (Reliability?)
I assume it’s lower/ higher than a tier 1 but what are the metrics/ measurement?

Or is it all just made up shite…?
