A rival strengthening is never great news but there are no guarantees here.
Nor any that he is going to sign for them. A week ago people here were laughed at for saying he wouldn't be going to Bayern.
 
We are going to struggle getting top creative talent like Wirtz. they've seen what Pep has done to the like of Grealish.

Grealish has won three premier leagues and a champions league.
He is lucky to have been here that long
Maybe Grealish is the problem and not pep
 
Mad how people are suggesting us getting MGW is better than Liverpool who already have a very good midfield getting Wirtz. MGW struggled to start for Wolves a season ago. We surely have the financial ability to compete with Liverpool and we defo have the need for a creative midfielder

I can't comment about a player I haven't seen, but I never worry too much about what rivals do. I'm happy with the creativity offered by Bobb, Foden, Echeverri, Marmoush, Doku and Savinho. If you have those options in front of Rodri and Gonzalez, you have to be happy. We'll see a couple coming in too.

I would hope we are in for players like this. Based on those who came in during the January window and Pep’s comments about working with a smaller squad, I am assuming not too many incomings and hopefully one or two of those will be elite, maybe a few Viana bargains to loan out on top
 
If I was Wirtz I’d join Liverpool over us. His mate Frimpong has just joined, they’re league champions and going off this season the football they play is way more appealing that what Peps served up these last 18 months.

Can’t even blame the club if it’s the players choice can we so don’t understand the crying by some.

Just hope we have a decent back up plan. Reijnders is a good start and I’m a fan of Gibbs White tbh, think he’s massively underrated by some on here. Add two new full backs who can actually run and provide some attacking threat and we’ll be alright.

Still a big blow though no getting away from that

The fact that Foden, Doku and Savinho have 1 goal between them since January isn't exactly saying we have creativity in abundance
