Who maintains the same level of football year after year? No team and we were already worse last season than season before, Liverpool has a really good team and coach and Wirtz will only make them stronger. To win the title ,City needs to be better than Liverpool ,cause i don´t think Arsenal will be better of those 2.

No one maintains their levels but no one excepted ours to drop so much, we were favourites going into the season for a reason. That really good Liverpool team didn’t amount to much last season and that really good manager did little recruitment in the summer. I agree with your last sentence.

Using this logic we’d never lose the league ever again.

In March, Liverpool actually had more points at that stage since we’d had in the 100 points season. They only dropped off when it was clear they were going to win it.

Now, that would be a great thing! The issue is how much our levels dropped not the fact they did, which is inevitable.

I'm not sure how to start life at this forum, I only registered here to throw my frustration because I was desperate for wirtz, but looks like everyone else is here is worst than me. Take it easy mate and enjoy our win which takes us to 3rd in our worst season for a decade. Not bad really and whilst we may take some time to rebuild I’m pretty sure we will be back Wirtz or no Wirtz .

bring back Henderson or Fabinho on a free and a young, talented winger or fullback without PL experience for 25m. ohh and sell someone with the importance of Alvarez and not replace him...

Liverpool won the league and went for world class to widen the gap which is some thing unfortunately we didn’t do since the champion league and now we play catch up game .Hope we act soon
