We’ve had the better window, and it’s only just started.
 
Now he's shown himself to be an idiot and signed for that rabble, I am neither bothered nor interested in his football career.
A player either plays for my team or he deasnt exist.
The thing that is going to annoy me no end is how I'll hear spitty saying "Weeeaaarrttttzz" in that horrible nasal scouse drawl.
It's making my teeth itch thinking about it. Yet another reason to put him on mute.
 
If we want to be the best, we have to beat them, Wirtz and all. I will never hope for an injury to a player, ever, so I hope he remains injury free, and that our players are the same. When we overtake them once more, there will be no excuses - they have spent more than us, bought the players they wanted, and they will have to take it on the chin. They won't: they will come up with yet more spurious reasons why victory has been cheated from them because that is who they are - they cannot accept that they are not the biggest and best any longer. If you believe that Wirtz and Kerkez added to their team is worth more than Ait-Nouri, Cherki, and Reijnders, and the return of Rodri and Bobb, then I am not with you, and that's not considering what we added in January, nor the return to form of Phillip Walter.

Agreed….. if the agent comes out & says ok Florian everyone agrees you’re worth a fortune to all parties but yourself.

How have we spent more than you? Surely you have spent what your 2025 rebuild cost?

as did we, dont always assume the cost equates to the value, they signed andy carroll and benteke for enormous sums in the past as well as nunez more recently, it seems that the press have done a fantastic job of brainwashing everyone when it comes to the dippers and always will do. Wirtz is a great player of that there is no doubt but they have paid all the money for him, hes not a bargain and so forth they have paid alot of money for a very good player, you know the same as all top teams do, dont let them spin some kind of narrative that it is any more or less special because they have done it.

Ait-Nouri, Cherki, Reijnders VS Wirtz, Frimpong, Kirkez, et al.

Like most in football, I have no issue with Liverpool as a team, only the fanbase, who I find to be, generally speaking, incapable of rational discussion about football, with a stubborn belief in their superiority and a refusal to accept anything other than cheating as a reason for one title in thirty years.

There is no PL club, especially one competing for titles, who does not spend money.
Not spending has been a weapon of your fanbase for years, and it simply does not bear scrutiny, especially not now.
