Flu jab

Being a diabetic I've had a free flu vaccination for years. Mrs laser qualified on age last year but didn't bother. She did this year though and had hers yesterday. I've got mine on Monday.

The local surgery normally sends a notice of the flu jab dates to all those eligible, I hadn't received one yet so I checked their website, turns out the first clinic was on Sept. 12th but no details of further dates. I rang up and after getting through the queuing system - it was like phoning for a match ticket! - I started to ask about the flu jabs and she put the bloody phone down! Fair enough if they want to keep the phone lines for more urgent stuff but they should improve their communcations, the website hasn't been updated for over a month and there isn't even an email address in the contact details. Looks like I'll end up paying for one or just not bothering.

They sold up to a Chinese company a couple of years back mate, Moose knuckles is the new Canadian coat brand.
That's right, I said Moose Knuckles.
Is that a euphemism. B? During the depths of a Beswick winter I don a sky blue aviator hat with rabbit fur trip. Took the magnet off a City magnet and sewed the rubbery badge onto the front. I'd say myself I cut a dashing figure in CBL3 and East Stand of the Academy Stadium. Even without my birthright - a double jackpot rollover - I look as though I've got a few bob (all DWP money!)? I imported it from Canada - Fur Hat World. There's several downsides, though - they've stopped advertising the sky blue aviator, and the white rabbit is Chinese rabbit, and it seems the whole fuckin' hat, when yer read the labels is Chinese. But at least it keeps the Canadian economy ticking over!
