66 now.
Dad, a blue, used to to take us - my oldest brother a red and another brother blue - to Old Trafford one week and Maine Road the next. Started taking me to odd games in 1964/5.
My blue brother persuaded me to follow City in 1965/6 season. The 2 of us started going without Dad, in 1967, running through the dog-shit ridden back alleys around Platt Lane and Maine Rd. I recall being there early to watch the players arrive - Young, Summerbee, Franny - and getting autographs. Wish I'd got an autograph from the guy who was always there, shouting with his billboard "Repent, you sinners" and thinking we should repent due to being City fans!
I regard myself as always blessed - never cursed.
What a wonderful journey it's been.
I get up 4/6 times a year from my home in Suffolk and go to whatever away games I can.
CTID - probably not too long to go now, probably!
