There aren't many top players who just dont perform for a season and a half

Let's hope he can get himself sorted in pre season as a consistent Foden makes us a much better team

I do think it’s exaggerated how bad he has been. He was injured quite a bit last season as well.

This season he’s still got 10 goals, which is pretty decent

Yeah I know they're a million miles apart in some senses, however, they've both fallen off a cliff in terms of performance (and yes I'm sure the reasons are entirely different).

Phil has had, for most players, an average season. Believe it or not, Phil has scored as many goals as POTY The Rat at Old Scaffold. Without the help of the four penalties. As many as Sir Limpalong Saka at Arsenal. As many as Salah (2 penalties there). Eze same number (with 3 in one game). More than forwards Anthony Gordon, Harvey Barnes and Evanilson. More than Slobolob. Does Foden have to be totally outstanding every match? Give the lad a break.

I think the unsettled fan takes on Phil have more to do with the potential we see on him than actual performance on the pitch. He has been fine. He could be (and has been, historically) world class. Hopefully he can get back there.

Foden is Foden. Not Bernado, or Daveed, or KDB. We need Foden of 2 years ago. Just like Bernado was not Yaya. We have to stop trying to make current people the historic greats

Its really up to him now. We all know his talent, so there's really no excuses going forward. He really needs to get back close to his best next season.
