This really is great news. Fantastic to get him signed up for another 5-years.

In his interview he said the player he looked up to the most when he was coming through was David Silva. Liked playing with Silva, KDB and Bernardo. Also confirmed he’s happy playing on the flanks but midfield is his preferred position.

I think he'll be sorely tempted, but I don't see it being longer than, say, a two-year deal. One thing I am sure about. I don't for one second believe that he'll walk away to another club, anywhere. I would take a two year extension
 
Good to have this sorted. Phil has stepped up his performers in recent weeks and the Derby showed what he can do when given a licence to roam.
