Foden ... Valuation in the current market?

On a par with Mbappe as the two best players in the world , he will now be making a difference in the big games , Champs league knockouts , cup finals , title deciders and the main man for Gareth Southgate and England for the forseeable future.

Phil Foden, aged 20 years old, already making a big difference to this incredible City side. All sorts of values placed on Messi and Ronaldo who are on their way out.

Always better than the over-hyped Sancho. Better than Gazza and Rooney for me as mentally stronger, more aware and skilled. He is way above Grealish who is a better comparison to Gazza and Rooney because of his build and physicality.

Premature? I do not think so. Time will tell but he has the attributes to be an all time great and the best ever English player.

He is a born winner. Look at his trophy haul already. We are lucky.

And how many games have we played in that time?

Phil starts all the Champions League games and the most important Premier League ones.

When Alan started, substitutes weren’t allowed, and by the time he retired, only one was permitted. Nowadays, players don’t have to start a game to record an appearance.

Phil has already played well over 100 times for City and with all the European group games, there are many more games each season than back in the '60s and '70s. As we know, he’s still only 20 and he is becoming more and more important to the team.

I know there is a long way for Phil to go to get anywhere near his grandad's cousin, but it’s certainly a distinct possibility.

Of course, as I said previously, it all depends on him staying fit.
 
You just know that a few years back we would have been looking over our shoulders come transfer time for the likes of RM or Barca to steal him from us!
Now I don`t think there`s anyone who could come close to prising him away from us!
 
I don’t think there’s much point in attaching a price tag to him as he’s not for sale at any price but in terms of value/demand surely only Haaland, DeBruyne, Mbappe and maybe Neymar could be worth more at this moment in time?

If this was a young scouser playing for that despicable lot he’d certainly be getting heaps more praise and being spoken about in the top 5 players in the world.

He is going to the very top, that is for sure, and he’s ours.
