Foden ... Valuation in the current market?

And many on the moon have been clamouring to sign an ageing over the top player from Barca yet we have an up and coming top player ourselves. Foden can become as good as Messi if not better!

Wears his heart on his sleeve and is more concerned about being mint than minted. Just wish we can develop a few other players to have the world at their feet as Phil now has. He's a very special talent.

For me he is the most exciting young talent on the planet. This lad can do it all, score, pass, defend, play on the wings i don't see any othe young player out there capable of that. As long as he can stay fit he is priceless.
I wrote on another thread that if he stays fit, Alan Oakes' appearance record could be in serious danger.

In my humble opinion Cole Palmer is another player who could become another top class player if handled like Phil Foden has been.
I think Palmer, Lavia and Delap are the ones. I don’t expect all three to become as integral as Foden now is, but I’d be gutted if one of them doesn’t. All they need is the opportunity and to not have their path blocked too much. They are all good enough.

Tough question because his value to City is higher than to any other club so there's probably not a realistic amount he would be sold for. So from that perspective he's probably invaluable. I can't envision a scenario where he ever leaves City.

In a vacuum I'd say he'd go for whatever Haaland ends up being sold for, maybe a tick lower because there's always a premium on forwards.
