It's the dream to have one of the best players in the World be a young City fan from Stockport. Could it be any better ?
Two things I worry about him is the amount of bad tackles he gets, I fear someone is eventually going to do him damage, look at the hack that useless full back from Villa done this evening. Second is him being built up by the English press to eventually knock him and for him to be blamed for Englands usual tournament disaster. Wish he would stay away from them, Stones has not been the same since the England game.

Hopefully, City will be an important enough team over the next decade that he doesn’t feel the need to move anywhere else...because it’s looking like he could pick and choose his destination.
The level of effort, commitment and skill at his age is rare. Put some more nous in there and he could be the best English player of his generation in the next few years.
One thing is absolutely clear, though, he has made the left winger/inside left/left midfielder positions his own. How lucky are we that Gundo can play alongside him and help nurture his already immense talents.
