I actually agree with him. He looks great but let's see him in two seasons. I've absolutely no doubt that he's going to be a great, but I'd like to see back to back great seasons.

I'm not entirely sure I'd go along with some posters who are putting him in a top 5 of the world's best players just yet.

Guardiola sees something in him, and our senior players are bigging him up, so I'm hoping he's all that and more.

Maybe it's being a long time Blue that I'm always a bit reticent in going over the top like Rags do about their youngsters?

I think he’s every bit as good as Rooney was when he burst onto the scene at Everton, and the inflation adjusted article I linked says Rooney went for £120M, but in all fairness I’d say he’s worth more than that to us... I think any bids over £150M would be hard for even us to ignore, but ultimately, probably would be as he’s not really replaceable.

Agreed. Seeing him on the ball and knowing her is a Blue just makes me feel good. I can't wait to get back to the ground to see him play live week in week out. All matchgoing fans will know that you see players in a different light when you see them live for a 90 minute match. It's totally different to watching it on telly. I can't wait to watch his movement off the ball and the way he links other players into the rhythm of the game. Exciting times for us Blues.
