Gulp! 09:45am tomorrow morning for me.....

BA flight from Gatwick to Seville today cancelled due to fog.
Now on flight to Madrid, and then to Jerez tomorrow morn, arriving in Jerez at 1305. Airport transfer Jerez to Seville is 165 euros. Would anyone like t share cost with me please ?

The poor couple next to me abandoned food and drink to get the plane. It was delayed again.

To confirm flight BA 2798 from Gatwick to Sevile at 1620 today is CANCELLED.
BA have given me a flight t Madrid at 0630 tomorrow morn, then a flight from Madrid to Jerez at 1200, arrive in Jerez at 1305.
I can catch a train to Seville, but timing is not great, so would prefer to share cost of taxi from Jerez to Sevilla.

the team when I left the airport were still there, there has been a lot of "slots"(later departure times) today, and many cancellations ,last time I did the city flight bmg they left at approx. 1pm, i reckon they are behind their own schedule ,the aircraft they are flying out on was on a remote stand, due to the fog the aircraft couldn't be towed over until approx. 1.30,so that would of delayed them,all in a days foggy day at the airport :)

Cool walking the dog yesterday on the park. A bank of fog rolled in like in the film, went all surreal with figures drifting in and out of the fog and my dog galloping in and out of it.

bloody typical british weather. many flights are being cancelled or delayed today and tomorrow doesnt look any better. Booked on stansted at 0800 tomorrow better not be cancelled or delayed. hope everybody makes it to seville in time.

For those flying out of Gatwick on BA or Easyjet flights tomorrow, I am down at the airport now. Visibility is way way better than it was this morning, but as the delays from earlier have begun to impact on the busy afternoon and early evening schedules, so flights are now being cancelled in far larger numbers. The Easyjet rep I just spoke to said they only had to cancel 2 flights this morning, but have had to axe over half this afternoon. As to tomorrow it's just a case of turn up and hope for the best

Why not bin the Jerez bit and catch the AVE (fast train) from Madrid Atocha station to Seville. Runs every hour, takes about 2.45 hours and if it's more than 5 minutes late you get all your money back.
