Football Cops CH4 (Series 1 Ep 1-4)

Thought those Sunderland fans were absolute arseholes.

Was it a Blue or a dipper nicked for possession of cocaine? Fancy his wife having to come and collect their teenage son. I bet he was in the doghouse for a while.

Was shocked to see the program actually showcasing the dropped pint full of coins thrown by the dippers in SSL3 during our Carabao cup fixture last yr. Thought the media has brushed it under carpet, whilst in reality it was despicable behaviour by the Scousers.
Exactly what evidence do you have that suggests it was a Liverpool fan that dropped it?
How do you know that it wasn't (for example) a Chelsea fan?

Demonstrations outside C4 HQ in coming.
Boycott planned for all products advertised on C4.
Death threats to C4 senior management.
Spirit of Shankly planning march down Whitehall demanding FULL apology and compensation.

City have already apologised and will be sending all of us an email about it later.

Anyone also watching this?

Dippers behaviour at ours gets a mention n dibble even call em out on it.
I've posted this before but I recently read a book called 'All Together Now' about the formation & running of FC Wimbledon Link which is well worth reading anyway.

In it, the author (who was the CEO for a while) talks about an FA Cup tie when they were drawn at home to Liverpool.
Obviously tickets were limited and in high demand and he talks about it being the most difficult conversation he had with the police, who warned him that Liverpool fans were notorious for doing anything to get in without tickets. They had to set up a cordon around the stadium to ensure only fans with tickets got to the turnstiles.

Could imagine some of them masquerading as chelsea fans Wombles to gain entry in home end.

Looks a good read that, along with 'Show Me the Way to Plough Lane' ultimate story of football fan power.

I always felt that the long term grudge that some City fans hold against Spurs regarding the 1981 Cup Final went back a long way.
But this Coventry vs Sunderland grudge goes back even further in time to 1977, which is almost half a century ago. Christ, most of those who hold the grudge weren't even born when it happened.
