Football League Cup - Semi-Final 10/11 Jan

I seem to recall about twenty replays and extensive analysis when sane's toe was offside vs arsenal

Ditto an extremely narrow, truly undetectable by the naked eye offside for KDB in a spurs game two years back. I remember that because huddle went on and on about it until spurs got two massively offside goals in their favour, after which it was all about how well they had played.

Yes, no bias indeed.
I can't remember the De Bruyne one. I seem to recall Gary Neville saying the Sane goal was tight but should be given the benefit of the doubt so no bias from him in that case. Sky obviously want to create debate though, I just think it's unfair on the linesmen when it comes to close calls like that.

Maybe Phil Nev is too biased but then it was Andy Hinchcliffe on co-commentary who seemed to want put a downer on everything all night, he even managed to do so on Pogba's lovely freekick that smacked the post.

Personally i'm not that bothered. But you can't compare Sane's goal with Mata's (last night).
Every player was on the move when Sane scored and it was so so tight. Last night they were all lined up and Mata
was clearly the last man.

Sorry mate but this is a shocker to get wrong.

As the ball is crossed for Martial (i think) to head it, Mata has already wandered offside, he's also the nearest player along the line to the linesman, he never actually gets back onside so even though it's marginal (though a damn site further off than Sane) the linesman should have flagged straight away, and seeing as it was the same linesman who flagged after Hull hit the post even though the Hull player was ON, it certainly makes you wonder whether these 'tight' decisions are being awarded to you lot as part of a 'let's not upset Jose' thing.

Will have a look once its' started. Won't be able to endure the pre-match dipper wankathon.
