"From a sporting perspective, the project has succeeded"

"The value of Manchester City has increased by a factor of at least 10 in seven years"

I'd be surprised if this article gets copy and pasted by Ducker, Syed et al since despite its obvious Munich biased bile, it actually grudgingly highlights our incredible success.

This, coupled with the decline in popularity of the Bundesliga given its utter lack of competitiveness with Bayern's dominance surely has hit their numbers.

All of this has boiled the fuck out of Rumminegge's piss and now he's taking it out in the press. There is nothing more to this than that. The German press is doing what it can to help their league's star club and also their country's league.

I can't say I don't love this act of desperation from a rival. In fact, I fucking live for this shit.

I think the best response to this is poaching Bayern's targets in the upcoming windows (assuming those targets will also be useful to us of course). Few things would be as satisfying in terms of revenge and also simultaneously threaten their long-term competitiveness if they can't get their targets.

What is an utter shame is that the German media (although critical as well of Munich from time to time) can also round up in favor of their league's best club, which unfortunately can't be said of the English press when it comes to standing up for their own country's best club.

The latter is more than happy to shit all over City at the slightest hints. Sucks that something like this will never stop until and unless City gains a large enough following where it comes financially stupid for the media to keep taking hits at us. Nothing we can do except take this shit for a lot more time.

I have written to Der Spiegel to inform them that at yesterday afternoon's game v Shakhtar kids there were no pies. No fuckin' pies at a football match. I also mention that the big fuck-off tv in the NE corner has not been mended, or have we had to stick it in Mays of Collyhurst to get Raheem to sign. Pretty hypocritical of him, he even looks like a rat(or a Mr Burns from The Simpsons - Splinter from The Turtles crossbreed) and in the same article acts "viscously ratlike" towards a whole fan base out of entitlement(anyone who does support FFP is a fan of an entitled elite club or simply doesn't get it). Like many who have covered this in the UK, he also lacks journalistic integrity for taking everything Der Spiegel said at face value.
